CSH 'mch' variable?
In the default .cshrc that comes with NetBSD, there is a variable called 'mch', that is set: set mch = `hostname -s`
I have no idea what that is or for. I have looked through the man pages, google, books, I can't seem to find a reference for it. I notice that the next line is set prompt = "${mch:q}: {\!} " , so is 'mch' a made-up variable name that is only meant to help set the default prompt?
