- Did you report this to misc@? I can't recall seeing a recent report quite like this, and you'd have several orders of magnitude more people to help you there. Your problem might be circumventable, or fixable, and the vastly larger audience may be of value.
- It appears that your ISA bus is dependent on having ACPI present. If so, I wonder what a dmesg would show from a working kernel -- perhaps a bsd.rd dmesg might be useful, since that should have an ISA bus attachment.
