Fc4 is the Linux 2.24.* kernel well known and compatibility problems known to
the maintainers.
Fc6 is based on the 2.26.* kernel. While it should work, some apps can have 2.24* vs. 2.26.* problems (which are out of the reach of the FreeBSD maintainers).
If you absolutely need a Linux app, just install that app on a Linux base system it is known to work on, then qemu or VM to other OSes as you feel like.
Further, when you feel like needing different OSes, why install them all on one machine? Sub-199$ machines are plenty, beyond better deals on eBay.
Is your Skype problem worth 199$ ?
