Default BitchX build failure

Hi fresh install of fbsd 7 and fresh portsnap, thanks in advance for any help

You could try configuring using '--without-plugins' as that appears to be the problem you're running in to.

As an alternative though, I'd suggest trying 'irssi' as BitchX development is pretty much dead in the water and has been abandoned by everyone who was involved with it. Debian recently announced the removal of it from their package archives due to a number of outstanding security issues that look unlikely to ever be fixed.
