Default 3g usbmodem how to ?

hey guys
just installed lastest dragonfly and wondering how do connect to the net using 3g usb modem

Huawei e620
provider= Vfinternet.au (Vodafone Australia)

You can search the forums for 'Huawei ' to find some pointers. IIRC the usbmodem will be recognize as a "/dev/ttyU?", where the "?' stands for a number.

the problem is that my usb-modem isnt reconise as a modem when i plug it in it says
" <huawei mass storage 2.31> removable cd-rom scsi-2 device
attempt to query deveice sie failed:not ready,medium not present"

Many USB modems have a dual function as flash drive / SD card reader. The dmesg entry you're posting if for a "mass storage" device, not for a modem.

Post the complete output of dmesg, copy/paste it so you're sure there are no typo's.
