Default bbs software

i'm looking for some no-fuss bbs software for multiple users on a freebsd box to post on. i found daydream, but the setup procedure seems convoluted (creating all of these user accounts, editing this or that). is there something simple, reliable, user-tested-and-approved out there for setting up a forum-style bb within the system (not on the web)?

thanks in advance

punbb is OK as long as you're not looking for anything fancy, BSDNexus uses this.

What do you mean, "within the system"?

only because so many people think of software like phpbb and other web-based bbs software when one says "bbs", i wanted to make sure people understood this was for use at the command line by logged in users. i guess i should have said "command line", eh?
