Default Internet advertising

About two weeks somebody on the OpenBSD misc mailing lists nicely worded my growing irritation bout internet advertising.

Quote:
I want to be able to walk to the coffee shop, mail a Christmas card to
my aunt Sarah, buy a cup of coffee, go to the library, and look at
pictures of Iceland, and then come home and not find advertizements in
my mail box saying my aunt Sarah likes Acme Brand Coffee, and travel
brochures for Iceland; but on the internet we know today, this is the
level of privacy we have (none).

On that account it's good to have entries like these in your /etc/relayd.conf

Code:
request header filter "ad.*" from "Host"
request header filter "ads.*" from "Host"
request header filter "adsense.*" from "Host"
request header filter "adwords.*" from "Host"
request header filter "*affiliate.*" from "Host"
    # etc.
