Default New OpenBSD dhclient(8)

See http://www.undeadly.org/cgi?action=a...20130208141628 for some news about the new OpenBSD dhclient(8) available in the snapshots and the 5.3 beta.

It also features a script that OBSD developer Bob Beck uses in combination with this new dhclient to automagically connect to different networks.
You don't need to be a genius to debug a pf.conf firewall ruleset, you just need the guts to run tcpdump

Default Dynamic DNS updating on dhclient events

Migrated to 5.3.

Pre-5.3, I had a script that fired a wget at zoneedit.com, my dns provider. The script fired from the former dhclient-script. The wget caused zoneedit to update the dns's A record for me.

I am in search of the 5.3 dhclient work-a-like hook/firing point.

In a nutshell, I need to tell zoneedit whenever a "dhclient event" gets an IP.

Any thoughts?

With thanks,
