Default help with mutt

I want the my most recent messages to show first. I'm using maildir.

this is on my .muttrc

set sort=reverse-last-date
set sort_browser=reverse-last-date
set sort_aux=date-received

try to change it into:

set sort = date-received
set sort_browser = date
set sort_aux=last-date-received

I don't use mutt, but i hope it works

set sort = reverse-date-received
set sort_aux = reverse-date-received
