Default Help with screen resolution for Window Maker

I installed freebsd 7.0 on a older laptop with 128mb of ram(Toshiba Portege 7000CT) and I installed x11 and then installed window maker... But if feels like most of my apps are too big for the screen(so to speak)
any ideas how I can solve this problem???

Post your Xorg.conf. How old is the laptop? It is possible that its maximum resolution fairly low, which X is already running at, in which case, you might encounter problems you describe.
