Default Disappearing firefox feature..

So I'm in the process of updating all my workstations to the 4.4 release of OpenBSD, as such.. I'm testing Firefox 3.0.3. (I manually updated, minus libm patches, package available on request).

Anyway, it works.. quite well actually.. it's fast.. responsive.. I had a few problems with the location bar behaviour, but all-in-all I like it.

Here is the problem.. the little "unread" indicator on new posts here used to change to "read" after pressing the browser "back" button, now it remains "unread".

How can one fix this? I'll post a screen shot if my post wasn't very descriptive..
