Post AIX: Which Application is Using a Specific Port

How to check which application is binded to specific port on IBM AIX, maybe somebody will find it usefull.

Code:
# netstat -Aan | grep 5524
f100060005e1eb98 tcp4       0      0  *.5524             *.*                LISTEN

# rmsock f1000600060d8b98 tcpcb
The socket 0x60d8808 is being held by proccess 1982694 (java.bin).

# ps ax | grep 1982694
 1003654  pts/6 A     0:00 grep 1982694
 1982694  pts/3 A     3:03 /u00/orahome3/jdk/bin/java.bin -Dibm.stream.nio=true

Linux is not UNIX! Face it! It is not an insult. It is fact: GNU is a recursive acronym for “GNU's Not UNIX”.

I do believe that owes itself a shell function or micro-script ;-)

Vermaden, are you working on AIX systems?
I believe it's feels very different from any other *nix.

@ephemera

Recently yes, but I did not had enought time to get more deep into it, generally its like comparing Solaris to FreeBSD, diffrent tools, diffrent approach but standart tools like df/ps/vmstat are there. For example, we have top at FreeBSD, prstat on Solaris and topas on AIX.

But first feelings are that its more similar to Solaris then to BSDs.

AIX was originally built on an AT&T UNIX System V base, had has developed commercially over the years; so it would make sense if it's more distant from FreeBSD, then Solaris is. Solaris still had to consider SunOS users at first, lol.
