Default pfsync+carp+wifi firewall redundancy inquiry

I have two Dell Optiplex GX110 which I want to make redundant firewall and wireless access points. I want to make both firewalls as redundant wifi access points as well. I think setting up pfsync and carp wont be a problem but wifi redundancy seems a little new to me and was wondering if anyone set one up before? Maybe I should set both wifi's into its own subnet but I'd prefer if I can keep all the wifi's and ethernet in one subnet.
