Default FreeBSD 7.2 X Server 1.6 Patch

Hey Everyone,

I'm new to applying patches in the FreeBSD world and was wondering if someone could point me in the right direction?

I need to apply 3 patches for the X Server since it keeps crashing on me when using Xinerama. I found the patches on freedesktop.org I just don't know how to apply them.

Do I need to recompile the kernel afterwards? Do I just put the patches in the ports directory for that port and recompile? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
