Angry lyx and boost

Hey all,

Need help installing print/lyx on 7.2-RELEASE FreeBSD

It compiles fine but when I go to run it as a normal user I get:

Code:
$ lyx
terminate called after throwing an instance of '__gnu_cxx::__concurrence_lock_error'
  what():  __gnu_cxx::__concurrence_lock_error
Abort trap: 6 (core dumped)
$
I've Googled till I can'ts Google no more!! A lot of people seem to say that this is an issue when boost is compiled with threading support for for the life of me I cannot find the "twiddle" to not compile devel/boost_build without threading support.

Anyone any suggestions?

If you go into devel/boost_build and type
Code:
$ make show=FLAVORS
what is the output?

Did you try updating your ports tree and reinstalling lyx? Which version of lyx do you have installed (pkg_info | grep lyx).

This sounds more like OpenBSD to me ...

Did you make sure the cat isn't dead?

Sorry, I wasn't sure if it was an OpenBSD-only thing or not. Please excuse me, I'm still getting into the swing of BSD.

Though it is not a recommended fix, I do a forced pkg_add of boost (pkg_add -r -f boost) and then install lyx. I've had no problems with it so far (been running it like that since 7.2-RELEASE came out).
