Default Dear Adobe: It's time for security rehab

From http://www.theregister.co.uk/2010/02...dest_proposal/

Quote:
Security researchers such as Mike Bailey, Dan Kaminsky and Jeremiah Grossman and Robert "RSnake" Hansen have been exposing architectural flaws in Adobe Flash for years that compromise the safety of the entire internet, and yet many of them remain unfixed to this day. Even Apple boss Steve Jobs has turned sour on Adobe, proclaiming recently that when Macs crash "more often than not it's because of Flash."

I hate that blind following ...

Some more known person told that flash is shit (like we did not know that anyway) and now everybody has started shouting what big evil is flash ... pathetic.

Linux is not UNIX! Face it! It is not an insult. It is fact: GNU is a recursive acronym for “GNU's Not UNIX”.

Indeed, this is hardly news. For years I've been disabling flash even on platforms that support that support it ...

This is good new and it's bad new for me since I program for the Adobe Flash Player. I'm planning on using it to build my FaceBook applications. But, I'm very glad I spent the day reading and practicing C code.
