Default a bug or a limitation ? ls | less nullifies gls ..

Hi everybody !

I've got no idea why it happens with gls ( ie, fileutils) but not with colorls ..
the ls alias goes : alias ls="gls -F --color=always"
whenever I do 'ls | less' it gets a bad shape and and colorizing is null ..

this doesn't occur when using colorls .. the alias is :
alias ls="colorls -G"

and TERM must be set to wsvt25

is it a bug ? or a limitation ?
and I still can't use colortail .. help is appreciated :-)

This probably belongs in packages and ports, since those programs aren't even part of an OpenBSD install.
