Default Java and OpenBSD

Is Java (as in either OpenJDK or Sun's JDK) included in the installation sets?

Is it enabled by default in the installed OS?

Thanks in advance for the clarification.

Software included with a release is listed on its announcement page. You can keyword search it, or look through the "Some Highlights" section. You can also look through the available third party packages for your release and your architecture at a nearby mirror.

Java is discussed in FAQ 13, as cynwulf mentioned. It is also discussed in FAQ 8.

OpenJDK builds on OpenBSD-5.4 but OpenBSD-5.5 gives this:
Code:
root:/usr/ports/devel/jdk/1.7:3# make show=MULTI_PACKAGES
-main -jre
root:/usr/ports/devel/jdk/1.7:4# env SUBPACKAGE="-main" make
===> jdk-1.7.0.21p2v0 depends on: jdk->=1.6,<1.7 - not found
===>  Verifying install for jdk->=1.6,<1.7 in devel/jdk/1.6
===> jdk-1.6.0.32p6 is marked as broken for i386: guarantee(get_thread() == thread) failed: must be the same thread, quickly .
*** Error 1 in . (/usr/ports/infrastructure/mk/bsd.port.mk:2034 '/usr/ports/pobj/jdk-1.7.0.21/.dep-jdk-ge-1.6,lt-1.7-devel-jdk-1.6')
*** Error 1 in /usr/ports/devel/jdk/1.7 (/usr/ports/infrastructure/mk/bsd.port.mk:2406 'all')

Java was broken for 5.5 release on i386. However it worked on amd64. I think it is fixed for 5.6 which I run now but I never bothered to check if it works. For the record I run Java in production only on Red Hat.
