FBSD & Java
Diablo-JDK is realy not working, thatswhy I want to use the suns's JDK.
lrwxr-xr-x 1 root wheel 21 May 16 03:24 /usr/local/bin/java -> /usr/local/bin/javavm
/usr/local/jdk1.6.0/bin]$ ls -l java
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root wheel 85256 Jun 8 23:04 java
/usr/local/jdk1.6.0/bin]$ ./java -version
java version "1.6.0_03-p4"
Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.6.0_03-p4-root_08_jun_2008_22_29-b00)
Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (build 1.6.0_03-p4-root_08_jun_2008_22_29-b00, mixed mode)
I want the default to be the JDK-16
PATH=/usr/local/jdk1.6.0/bin /sbin:/bin:/usr/sbin:/usr/bin:/usr/games:/usr/local/sbin:/usr/local/bin:$HOME/bin; export PATH
What cab I do?
Your path is broken: you need a ':' between options, not a space.
One simple way, of course, is to remove diablo-jdk with pkg-delete. If you have got jdk16 built, then diablo has done it's job.
There is a setting mentioned in a recent, similar thread that discusses this.
The only dumb question is a question not asked.
The only dumb answer is an answer not given.
