Post improve proxy cache and replace gif MIME

Hello

i ve installed squid transparent 2.6,
here my squid.conf :

http_port 3128
acl all src 0.0.0.0/0.0.0.0
collapsed_forwarding on
ie_refresh off
cache_mem 64 MB
maximum_object_size 4096 KB
maximum_object_size_in_memory 1024 KB
cache_dir ufs /var/squid/cache 256 16 256
visible_hostname bsdgate
cache_mgr wesleym@e-solutions.re
http_access allow all

How can i improve cache ?
Also, i want to replace gif images parsed by our logo gif. Is it possible ?

milo,

I think even if you installed the transparent flavor of squid you still have to say it in your squid.conf. Your first line IMHO should read:

http_port 3128 transparent
