Single and Multi User Mode Logging
Hey all again
I now would like to know where must I edit scripts in order to create a log that contains date & time when system enters single user mode & multi user mode. I have been able to do it on the rc.local to register multiuser mode, but have no idea about how to do it on single user mode. Help will be gladly appreciated. Thanks! |

When the system is booted single user, rc scripts are not executed.

In addition --- the root partition is mounted read-only, no other partition is mounted. init(8) merely starts up a shell on the console.
