Default OpenOffice formula

Hi all,

I'm wondering how to do multiply entire column by a number in open office. EX :

A B C
one four 915
two six 40
three eight 100

Now I'd like to multiply(update) column C by 1.2 and leave all other columns intact.

Thank you,
C

You can use an array formula. Search in the HELP for "copying;array formulas"

I found easier way to do that.. use empty cell write a number with which you want to multiply, copy it. Then select cells/columns which you want to multiply, right click paste special .. and thats it. Thank you for your post ! cheers
