FreeBSD 8.2-RC3/7.4-RC3 Available...
From http://lists.freebsd.org/pipermail/f...ry/061353.html
Quote:
The third Release Candidate for the 8.2/7.4 release cycle is
now available. For 8.2-RC3 the amd64, i386, ia64, pc98, powerpc,
and sparc64 architectures are available. For 7.4-RC3 the amd64,
i386, pc98, and sparc64 architectures are available.
An initial set of pre-built packages are available on the 8.2-RC3
DVD images for both amd64 and i386. For 7.4-RC3 the DVD and CDROM
images have a reasonable set of packages but due to issues with the
i386 package set at the time the ISO images were made the KDE packages
were not available. That should be fixed for the release.
At this point we do not know of any issues large enough to hold up the
release for. Unless further testing uncovers such an issue the release
should happen in a week or so.
