PDF editor / viewer

Does anyone know of a pdf editor for OpenBsd, besides Libre Office
I did not find anything doing some startpage searches.

"mupdf" is fine for viewing, but what about a editor ?

There is the graphics/inkscape package. According to this website, it can be used to edit PDF, one page at a time, reassembling them afterwards with textproc/pdftk.

Disclaimer: I know nothing about inkscape. I use pdftk when necessary.

"Editing" can be broadly defined.

graphics/evince can enter text fields in a pdf and save the results. I've used it to generate and print the 1040 tax form that gets mailed to the IRS.

mutool(1) can remove/merge pages, extract images/font files, change fonts and page size and generate new pdf's from extracted contents.

The OpenBSD oman forum tool comes up empty - here is a web link mutool

Thank you, shep. I use evince as my PDF viewer, I didn't consider its ability to manage form field entry as "editing."

I use to send out a newsletter, as a pdf, for a hobby group and the newsletter author used to embed massive photos. It took group members on dial-up 20 minutes to download. In spite of my showing him how to crop/shrink/reduce resolution of photos in OS/X, the next newsletter would have a native photos from a 10 Megapixel camera. Plus I archived them on an inexpensive web site with limited bandwidth/storage space.

I got more experience editing pdfs than I wanted - there are many options depending on your goal.

Thanks, for all of these, it looks like "pdftk" can do what I need , if I can figure it out.
From the manual:

* Merge PDF Documents or Collate PDF Page Scans
* Fill PDF Forms with X/FDF Data and/or Flatten Forms
* Attach Files to PDF Pages or the PDF Document

Evince looks like it might be useful, for other things as well, so I am going to give it a try.
