XFCE4 on 7.0
I have xfce4 installed on my my system but the desktop will not update while xfce4 is running. I have dbus and hal running but the only what I can see if anything new was added is to shut down xfce and start it up again. Not your optimum solution. It used to work awhile ago when policykit was enabled in /usr/local/etc/rc.d but it is no longer installed automatically. Do I just install that or is it something else? It works automatically in all the Linux distros I have tried. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Guys, there is a search function. Anyway, I encountered this problem a while ago. You can find the solution here.
