Default pkgin - fetch failure/ Not logged in

Hi there,

I'm using pkgin to install and manage binary packages on NetBSD 5.1 (i386). Today I've tried to install "xfce4", but I get this "fetch failure":

Quote:
downloading packages...
downloading p5-glib2-1.223.tgz: 100%
downloading usbids-20081118.tgz: 100%
pkgin: fetch failure (Not logged in), retrying
pkgin: fetch failure (Not logged in), retrying
pkgin: fetch failure (Not logged in)
pkgin: could not fetch url: ftp://ftp3.de.netbsd.org/pub/pkgsrc/...it-0.9nb7.tgz: Not logged in
pkgin always downloads exactly two packages and then stalls with the above mentioned report.

Is it a problem with the mirror (ftp3.de.netbsd.org)? How do I "log in"?

Default Re: pkgin - fetch failure/ Not logged in

The server is seems to working properly now - I've managed to download the file with my browser.

If I encounter "file not found" or "no access to ftp" problem, I go to
1a. Official NetBSD FTP site: ftp.netbsd.org/pub/pkgsrc/packages/NetBSD/i386/5.1/All/
1b. FTP Search engine, such as "Mamont" - mmnt.ru/int/ and search exactly for "policykit-0.9nb7.tgz"
2. Manually download needed file with a web browser or command line utility (ftp, wget, curl...).
3. If this file is a package, I just issue "pkg_add policykit-0.9nb7.tgz" and restart the xfce4 installation.
4. If this file is a source, it have to be moved to /usr/pkgsrc/distfiles and restart compilation process.
