Default opensolaris laptop keeps freezing on me

Im trying to see why my second opensolaris laptop keeps hanging and the screen freezes.
Things I have done:

My laptop doesnt have a working cdrom drive, so in order to install opensolaris on it, I had to take out the disk drive and put it in another laptop to install the base system. Once I did that I rebooted in and everything was fine.
I did the reconfiguration touch
Code:
# touch /reconfigure
# init 0
put the hard drive into my second laptop, the one I call raphael.

This is the last message I saw when it was booting up, and then it went in gnome

Code:
Jan 13 13:39:55 raphael in.routed[510]: [ID 464608 daemon.error] route 0.0.0.0/8 --> 0.0.0.0 nexthop is not directly connected
Jan 13 13:40:00 raphael /sbin/dhcpagent[201]: [ID 778557 daemon.warning] configure_v4_lease: no IP broadcast specified for iwi0, making best guess
Boot up, start running package manager and it freezes. After a while I had no choice but to power cycle
Code:
Jan 13 14:01:38 raphael svc.startd[7]: [ID 757509 daemon.warning] Lost repository event due to disconnection.
Jan 13 14:02:08 raphael svc.startd[7]: [ID 652011 daemon.warning] svc:/system/manifest-import:default: Method "/lib/svc/method/manifest-import" failed with exit status 95.
Jan 13 14:02:08 raphael svc.startd[7]: [ID 748625 daemon.error] system/manifest-import:default failed fatally: transitioned to maintenance (see 'svcs -xv' for details)
Jan 13 14:15:39 raphael genunix: [ID 540533 kern.notice] ^MSunOS Release 5.11 Version snv_101b 32-bit
Jan 13 14:15:39 raphael genunix: [ID 172908 kern.notice] Copyright 1983-2008 Sun Microsystems, Inc. All rights reserved.
I get no output from this command
Code:
# svcs -xv
One thing I did notice is that I am able to run under gnome safe-mode,

Don't know if this will help, I still consider myself an opensolaris newbie, but two observations. First, I've got it running fine off a usb hd attached to a laptop. Second, don't know which version you're running, but I found 2008-11 considerably improved over 2008-5.

You should report this to http://opensolaris.org/os/discussions/ they will know how to help you.
