Unix noob's license plate
I agree with site, it's a funny plate... but why exactly do you call him a "noob"?
I find it's quite effective if you're in the right directory, rm -rf / would be the typical "noob" mistake.
Then I guess I'm a guru because I haven't done that yet.
... but rm -rf / is harmless on FreeBSD:
# rm -rf /

Well, I just did this today (rm -rf *), but I knew what I was doing. It was in a directory that I wanted to get rid of. Power is wonderful!

I guess that's what saved me.

I don't care much for the cars hind end, but the license plate is nice ;-). I'm also glad to say, I've never shot myself in the foot with rm'ing with globs -- much nicer then a safety-bin to fill up until it auto-cleans haha.

Gor example you have a /usr.bkp dir or even /boot.bkp dir, you just want to replace the messed one, and you cant do that then: # rm -rf /usr You will could go to /usr adn rm -rf * there and then rename it but, whats the point generally ... I wish I took a picture but I bought my sister-in-law's car but she's in Texas so had to have it shipped up to me. The truck arrived yesterday to drop it off but first he had to remove the cars that were in front of it. Off came the Lamborghini. Off came the Bentley. Then my little Ford Focus.

That's funny! A coworker and I were in downtown Miami the other day and we saw a Lambo about to get towed away after a little fender-bender with another car. The tow-truck guy was standing in front of it, taking one of those self-pics so popular on MySpace with his cell phone... like "check me out with the Lambo!"
