Exclamation Need help with Lua kernel scripting

I'm trying to follow any of the guides online I've found with NetBSD 6.99.28 with 7.1 and they are not working. For instance this guide:

http://www.tokuda.net/diary/0819

Following along and then attempting the final commad:

Code:
luactl load s1 ./hello1.lua
Returns:

Code:
luaload invalid arguement
Does anyone have a good, in-depth guide or documentation for this?

Lua on NetBSD is practically undocumented except a couple of outdated PowerPoint presentations/pdf's you can find on Google. The link you gave is even more informative than all I've seen on this subject.

Just only the man page lua(4)

The lua device is experimental. Incompatible changes might be made in
the future

You should ask in mailing lists maybe.

There are developers looking at those lists and they should explain something or give you a link

Which mailing list do you think I should ask in? I joined the dev tools list but that doesn't seem right...
