Do people still use NetBSD?

cause I accustomed now to see new posts on Open/Free only.

I wonder what it feels like using NetBSD

Actually number of people using NetBSD is smaller than number of people using other *BSDs, therefore less questions about NetBSD.

Why don't you try it then? That way you could see for yourself and don't rely on other people's opinions. If it suits you good then use it (and tell us about it).

You see one of the curses of using OpenBSD is that you can not use any thing else, and by _else_ I only mean any *BSD else .

You are making the assumption that this is the only site where the NetBSD community comes to ask questions. It isn't.

In fact, you should look at the mailing lists archived on NetBSD's official site. Athough not all mailing lists see the activity of netbsd-users@ or port-i386@, the NetBSD community is indeed alive & quite vibrant. If I was a avid NetBSD user, I certainly would read those mailing lists daily.

Another curse is that when you are forced to run critical services on other operating systems, you get less restful sleep at night.
