netbsd on raspberry pi
Hello Philippe,
netbsd is a wise choice for the raspberry pi. The location of your pkgsrc directory should be /usr/pkgsrc. Before using pkgsrc, you have to download a tar archive of the pkgsrc files. You have to decide if you want the current or the stable branch of pkgsrc files. The latest tar archive for the stable branch is 2015Q2. Download the pkgsrc tarball and extract it under the directory /usr The directory /usr/pkgsrc contains all the package Makefiles of the packcages. Before you compile any packages read the pkgsrc user's guide at netbsd.org. More informations about netbsd and the raspberry pi is on the interesting websit of frederick cambus: search for frederick cambus netbsd. Enjoy NetBSD on the raspberry pi! blackcat |
