Default Mounting a second serial hd

Hello,

I am new to unix. I am running darwin, OS X, I am trying to view a new second hard drive I installed. The hard drive is formated under OS X, I am learning unix and Linux. I understand you have to mount the drive which should be located in the dev directory? I can see it in the volumes dir but I am not sure how to mount it and view my backup directories on it from the command line. These are what I have listed in my dev dir, how do I know which one is which drive?

disk0 disk0s1 disk0s3 disk1 disk1s1 disk1s3 disk2 disk2s1 disk3 disk4 disk4s1 disk4s2 disk5

Thank you,

Keith

Default Access Volume

Hello,

You are right, it is showing in the volumes dir, so it is mounted. How to I access the drive from the command line? I named it Backup 1 when I installed it.

Thank you,

Keith
