Everytime I log in my system displays it's copyright information.

The only control provided for modifying the login message is motd(5).

Also, IIRC, you can create ~/.hushlogin to disable all login messages. (I'm not sure if this applies only to Bourne shells, though.)

edit: Sorry. Just realized that is already documented in motd(5). I think I need some caffeine.
