Default Is OpenBSD adopting Linux's systemd?

Based on the article below, it does seem that OpenBSD will be adopting Linux's version of systemd. Of course OpenBSD's variant of systemd will be called by a different name such as systemBSD.

Will systemBSD appear in OpenBSD 5.9, 5.10 or.......?

Title of the article: systembsd: custom dbus daemons emulating systemd behavior on openbsd

Excuse me, but I missed something.
A university student who warns readers he/she "shouldn't be taken as an authoritative source" is working on a project to write dbus daemons that will attempt to emulate the behaviour of systemd for the benefit of BSD users who want to use Gnome, means

Unless there is something extraordinary past the point where I stopped reading.

No, I don't think so. If software is dependent on parts of systemd, an intermediate layer will not be 'systemd'. Gnome is Linux, always has been, porting it has always been problematic.

Not to mention that systemd is designed specifically for Linux. The people creating it believe BSD is an irrelevant legacy system. One of the reasons Linux users who oppose systemd do so is that it is non-portable by design. I cannot see any BSD system adopting a BSD clone of systemd, because of a desperate desire to keep Gnome available.

This is my understanding:
OpenBSD is not going to adopt systemd to base system. Insted someone just wrote intermediate layer which will be in ports, not base. A layer is going to support only small subset of systemd features. This layer doesn't do anything really substantial from stability and security point of view.

There were topic on this on mailing list, but I don't know where.

Please don't believe the crap your read from Linux quarters, which has been blogged, reblogged, oversimplified and turned into sensationalist crap for mass consumption:

The article is posted on an interesting site. http://darknedgy.net After being greeted by a photograph of Richard Stallman, I believe, the "About" page has some interesting information.

I'm going to respectfully disagree with Oko here. There is some value in seeing what has happened. Someone, apparently less experienced, saw an article, and in the spirit of the Internet, jumped to a conclusion.
Other people with more experience, looked at the article and explained to the OP where they had jumped to conclusions.

So, I think it has value--someone may come across and see some clickbait type post on slashdot or whatever, and rather than immediately post, Oh no, look what happened, read the original source and see why the original article they saw was nothing but sensationalism, posted in the manner it was, and realize that it is not going to have much an effect on them.
