Default OpenBSD randomly wedging

I've been running OpenBSD 4.4 on an Atom N330, in the capacity of a firewall/OSPF router.

I recently upgraded (clean install) to OpenBSD 4.7 and with a virtually identical configuration, I'm experiencing frequent 'wedges', wherein the entire box becomes unresponsive to network/console/etc but recovers without user intervention after an arbitrary period of time. Not having the time to investigate further, I downgraded to 4.6 and the problem disappeared. Anyone seen anything like this? Or, any idea what kind of instrumentation I could setup that might shed some light as to which device/process is causing this?
