Default Lazarus 1.0: free cross-platform Pascal IDE

From http://h-online.com/-1695982

Quote:
After working on the 0.9.x branch for more than seven years, the Lazarus Project development team has announced that it has reached the milestone of releasing of version 1.0 of its open source visual programming environment for Free (FPK) Pascal. Lazarus is a cross-platform integrated development environment (IDE) for rapid application development (RAD) for Pascal and Object Pascal developers that was inspired by the Delphi IDE (formerly Borland, now Embarcadero Technologies).

It supports several processor architectures including x86, x64, PowerPC, ARM, and operating systems such as Linux, FreeBSD, Windows and Mac OS X.
