Error while trying to icompile irssi from source
I have doenloaded the tar.gz file of the latest releae of irssi, and tried to install it on my fresh installation of OpenSolaris, How ever after issuing the ./configure command i receive the following read out and error
checking for a BSD-compatible install... /usr/bin/ginstall -c checking whether build environment is sane... yes checking for gawk... no checking for mawk... no checking for nawk... nawk checking whether make sets $(MAKE)... yes checking whether to enable maintainer-specific portions of Makefiles... no checking for style of include used by make... GNU checking for gcc... no checking for cc... no checking for cl.exe... no configure: error: no acceptable C compiler found in $PATH See `config.log' for more details. How do I include an accetable C compiler in my path?
