Default How Do You Use NetBSD?

Just curious how people here are using NetBSD. I'm using it as a development platform on my laptop for mod_perl stuff. I'm also hoping to get a server or two into production to host some web applications at my place of employment.

Sometimes for that:

but usually as a desktop (music, kopete, movies etc). Nothing special but it is working great on Thinkpad T61.

Nice! Currency trading was not what I expected the first post to be about. That's fantastic.

Out of curiosity, how do you like kopete? I've been using pidgin, and I like it a great deal.

Hi,

well I don't know how pidgin suits me as I have never been using that. For my needs Kopete is the best choice- as I use jabber and gg (polish messanger).

Yeah, currency acctually I need to practice more

P.S.

I use native Java for that purpose (the currency client is written in Java)
