Default Puppet Labs receives $8.5 million in funding from Google, Cisco and VMware

Puppet Labs, the company behind the open source Puppet configuration management tool, has announced that it has received $8.5 million in Series C funding from Cisco, Google Ventures and VMware. This additional financing brings the company's total to $15.75 million; Puppet Labs had previously received investments from Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, True Ventures and Radar Partners.
You don't need to be a genius to debug a pf.conf firewall ruleset, you just need the guts to run tcpdump
