Finally, I believed the phoenix lander used VxWorks but I couldn't find any public statement to back that up.

The other landers, Spirit/Opportunity have that noted on their Wikipedia pages.

Hooray, a "Real-time" Unix-like system is on mars.. and they use C!

(Someone here said nobody used C in mission critical places, be damned! liar!).
