Boot i386, install amd64
Can I boot from a i386 pendrive and install amd64 via web?

My understanding is that the 32 bit boot loader is copied from the install media and you will need a 64bit bootloader.

are you sure?
what about if I boot 6.0 and install 6.1 via network? |

I actually did, but since I already had a i386 pendrive I wanted to do an experiment, that's why I asked. Didn't have time though
