Default Firefox page too big

just install firefox 3.6.3
but using it is fine apart from all the web pages are too big and i have to zoom out everypage i go too
an ideas would be much appeciated

Press CNTRL- (Control key and 'minus' key from numeric keypad) to decrease the font size.

cheers mate i do that already but i dont want to do it everytime i open a new page so i m thinking of going to opera instead

Press ctrl-0 (zero) to reset to 'normal' size. If you are getting that larger view on all pages then your settings are wrong for some reason. Look under View->Zoom and Edit->Preferences to see what's set in there. Font and page sizes should be the same as every other browser.
