Default dvd filesystem type

when you guys mount your dvds, do you use the cd9660 standard or mount with udf?

I believe cd9660. Why not give it a shot and find out?

thats what i thought too but i was reading wikipedia earlier and read this, dont know how relevant this is:

cd9660 works fine. im more curious if using udf is a better option or not with FreeBSD.

EDIT: for instance i have only done a simple read/write to a recordable dvd-r. I have not tried anything like copying files from a CSS encrypted dvd. If udf has better support for stuff like this is what im curious about.

UDF is in a so-called 'sorry-state' in FreeBSD, so nothing to worry about. Your aren't able to read most modern versions or more complex ones.
