Default HTT or no HTT

My cpu is Intel Pentium 4 Prescott with Hyper Threading Technology.
For years i was wondering if it's good to enable or not.
Frankly i don't think it's possible to notice.

I have seen performance boos by disabling HTT only once.
When i was using MasterCam, to write complex CNC program.
It was long time a go (about 3 years).

I still wonder if it's worth.
Mainly i enable it because: if they build it, there must be some benefit.

I would like to hear what others think.
I've just read wikipedia on this matter.... and still i don't know the truth.

and now that intel says htt will return (probably improved, but still)...

I'm considering disabling it.
