Default what is this "not configured" hardware?

Hello again,
this seems to be the only hardware not working in my Thinkpad x200 with obsd 4.5:
Code:
acpidock at acpi0 not configured
acpivideo at acpi0 not configured
acpivideo at acpi0 not configured
"Intel GM45 Video" rev 0x07 at pci0 dev 2 function 1 not configured
"Intel GM45 HECI" rev 0x07 at pci0 dev 3 function 0 not configured
"Intel GM45 AMT SOL" rev 0x07 at pci0 dev 3 function 3 not configured
I guess one of them is the integrated webcam, which I understand is very poorly supported in all BSD's, but I never really felt the need for it.
What about the others? Just to know.

In a recent topic, the dmesg you posted for your laptop showed that the integrated camera is supported.. it is a USB UVC device.

uvideo0 at uhub0 port 6 configuration 1 interface 0 "Chicony Electronics Co., Ltd. product 0x480c" rev 2.00/31.34 addr 2
video0 at uvideo0

You can use utilities in ports that support the V4L2 API.. many do.

The first "not configured" device is something related to the integrated Intel video, something that's exposed on the PCI bus isn't needed by OpenBSD.

The last two devices are related to 2 Intel specification that aims to be a replacement for SMBIOS, for controlling various embedded devices in a more standardized way.. fan speeds, etc... HECI and AMT.

None of these are anything to worry about, they are not supported by OpenBSD.

Q: What does "not configured" mean?

A: The kernel does not contain a driver for the device.
