At the command-line. See apm(8).

Ah-ha, thank you ocicat. That should have occurred to me, but for some reason didn't.

Thanks to OpenBSD Team, Thanks ocicat!
Theo's post made me laugh outloud ..
I tried apm -A and -C :
Code:
apm: cannot connect to apmd, not changing performance adjustment mode
Other options are ok .

daemonfowl, the code was only checked in today:

http://article.gmane.org/gmane.os.openbsd.cvs/113465

While there is a i386 snapshot available with today's date, this feature may not be in that build. You should also go through the list of requirements to see if your system meets the minimums specified.

Theo's post made me laugh outloud ..
How old is Theo? Subjecting people to humiliation is juvenile and is best left to the fifth through seventh graders and teenage girls who perfected it. Or is this Theo's way of indicating to others that he is a teenage girl?

Humility is not his most highly developed characteristics, and although OpenBSD is a fine operating system, I haven't seen Theo walk on water so I am unsure of the source of his conceit.

Theo has a habit of baring his teeth when someone simply asks a question which he perceives as a cornered threat. He writes and talks that OpenBSD is the most secure operating system in the world, and that the security team audits code continually. Perhaps he should release the audits and the methodology used so others can decide for themselves if it indeed valid and reliable. Reminds me of the bully who constantly abuses others by talk alone and when actually confronted he doesn't have anything to backup his attitude. Release the audit reports or face OpenBSD being the banality of operating systems.

No need to feel that bad.If I'm that person I would lol at myself too .. Truth is strong enough to arouse laughter as tears. For a moment , I remembered a great movie : the Judo Saga ... but who's jujitsu and who's judo ? OpenBSD is judo and far superior and can never become a 'b a n a l i t y' .. :-)
Sanchiro Sugata must be everyone using OpenBSD .. :-) ..

Yeah, most Theo attacks I figure the person more or less had it coming, there's a valid point involved that might as well be embellished with a little vitriol, or else it's against someone like RMS with accomplishments that make him more or less invulnerable. But this one kind of bugged me too.

But what are you going to do? Use another operating system cause the leader hurt someone's feelings?

AFAIK hackers are less serious about verbal mistakes and more serious about technical ones ..
Of course I'm against verbal offense to anyone.
verbal communication that is written may fail to reveal genuine intentions.
Maybe the poster is being cool while me seeing his post as hostile and offending .. this happens much on chats .. I hope this won't be aggravated
(Yes I must be ashamed of mysel if I offend a programmer who's been hacking a piece of sotware for 2 years and me using it pleasurably as a wanton boy .. :-) )
