Default make search and docproj?

I carried out a cvsup and can no longer run a make search key
within /usr/ports... Is there any particular reason for this?

My cvsup looks like this

*default host=cvsup3.uk.FreeBSD.org
*default base=/var/db
*default prefix=/usr
*default release=cvs tag=RELENG_7_0
*default delete use-rel-suffix
*default compress

additionally, I was looking to find docproj-nojadetex with my search, which I understand should reside in /usr/ports/textproc but isn't.

Try this file, changes in red:
Code:
*default host=cvsup3.uk.FreeBSD.org
*default base=/var/db
*default prefix=/usr
*default release=cvs tag=.
*default delete use-rel-suffix
*default compress
ports-all

To expand on Carpetsmoker's post: There is only a single ports tree, that is always being updated. As such, the CVS tag for the ports tree is always . (the period), which means "the most recent files available".

To expand on Phoenix's post: You do have tags in the ports tree, but they are not very useful in most situations.
For example, people using FreeBSD 4 probably want to use the RELEASE_4_EOL tag, because FreeBSD 4 is no longer supported and many ports will not work with it.

More importantly, you missed the "ports-all" line...
