This last sentence is the most salient. Since none of us are there to look over your shoulder, we can only go by the information presented thus far which isn't very tangible.

The first place you should look is /var/log/Xorg.0.log which is where Xorg tracks what it thinks is going on. Posting its contents here may help us direct you forward.

Hi ! guess what .. Ibook Screen is full and well-shaped now .. all I did was a nice upgrade to OpenBSD Current .. and text scrolling is relatively faster than before ..
so the only problem remaining is : wi0 .. I'm currently using gem0 ..

Didn't I Tell you OpenBSD rocked , rocks ! and continues to rock ! .. :-)

( I miss the easy Ctrl Alt Fn to open/change terminals .. so X is inevitable .. there is also a tiny bug related to caps .. for when you press the button it loses its assigned function .. so you're obliged to keep your finger on caps while typing input .. if only I were an arachne or squid .. mmm .. franz kafka's metamorphosis .. )
