Default ThinkStation C30

Hi folks.

I would like to change my old 2007 PC : it's a Core Quad, but too slow for video editing (Blender).

I've found a ThinkStation C30 on eBay, with dual-CPU (2 x Xeon E5-2609 v2).
I has 16 Gb RAM, which can be pushed to 256 Gb.
Seems pretty cool for 295 € ($ 337).
Also found Xeon E5-2630 v2 CPUs for 105 € each ($ 120 each).
So the global cost would be 295 + 2 x 105 = 505 € ($ 577).

I saw an upgrade kit for PC, Ryzen 5 based, for 455 € ($ 520)
According to BlenchMark, one single Xeon 2630 would be 6 times faster than my PC, even faster than any AMD Ryzen 5.
So with 2 CPUs...

And later, I could upgrade it with 2 x Xeon E5-2690 v2, and then it would double the speed compared to the E5-2630 config.

I think it's a good machine, and I seriously consider buying one.
What do you think ?
Does anybody have this kind of computer, or ever used one ?
Is it worth to buy ?
A good friend for Puffy ?

I don't think those Xeons have an integrated GPU, so you'll have to buy a graphics card on top of this.

Something like

would work well on OpenBSD.

Well, there are sold with a nVidia NVS 295, but I can pick the nVidia GT 710 from the Quad.
Ideally, I must search n'find my old Radeon HD 5450, which is hiding somewhere in some cardboards...
