Default How to change terminal color (Openbox)?

Hello. I'm trying to find some info on how to change the terminal background and fonts color in Openbox. I found some useful guides but they don't explain why someone's taking those steps.

I'm just looking for a black background with green default fonts.

Can someone provide me with some info? Thank you.

[edit]: I'm using OpenBSD 4.7 w/ Openbox 3.4

Openbox has nothing to do here (its only a window manager), check configuration of Your terminal, what terminal You use? (xterm/urxvt/rxvt/mrxvt/...)

I'm using xterm. I can do it with
Code:
xterm -fg green -bg black +sb
but I don't know how to make this work from boot.

You can also add
Code:
xterm -fg green -bg black +sb
with obmenu to your openbox menu config file (or your keybindings), if you want xterm with those options only in OpenBox. It is a small "workaround" for sure vermaden's way is more "clean".

Thank you. I figured that. But the thing is that I'm using openbox only. So I went with Vermaden's approach.

I used many combinations but I think I'll stay with just green on black background. Even more minimal.
